NASA's spacecraft Phoenix has just landed on Mars, and from the first photographs it looks like a perfect surface to play pétanque! Who knows, one day we'll see:

For beating the Earth World's Record on Mars, you have to compensate for a 41 minute longer day. So you'd have to play for 49 hours and 23 minutes for the new record...
