Petanque in Winston-Salem (3)

Another bright and sunny afternoon at Miller Park yesterday!
Christine, who won a national junior pétanque tournament in Virginia when she was, well -- a junior (not long ago), and is probably the only person in this country who had a tooth chipped due to a pétanque boule (while standing too close behind her dad in those days), brought her wit and her rusty but oh so accurate boules.
Both Terry and Jenn have turned into ruthless pointers.
We also saw some extremely elegant outfits!

We're all on again for an afternoon of fun Sunday Nov 19, at the same place. To join our mailing list and stay up-to-date on next get togethers, please e-mail Gary.

Looking good there Philippe.

I'm so die-hard Petanque, I wish that I had a "petanque scar" - perhaps someone can throw a cochonnet at my face!
