President of LAPC for the past 10 years, but he's been around a lot longer on the petanque scene, and one of the driving forces behind the development of petanque in California.
I knew he was originally from Brussels, Belgium, but had no idea how he ended up in LA.
LAPC's last newsletter gives the whole story. Worth a read! A mix of the American dream and an amazingly determined mother.
The menu on the right is from the days he and brother Felix were working at Frascati, a Belgian restaurant "chain" avant la lettre, almost 50 years ago. One can truly find anything, anytime, on the net.
