There's a new group of players in McCarren Park!Tristram and his friends get together regularly for play under the oak trees, and are warming up for the Bastille Day tournament on July 16.
The spot looks great: central location, with plenty shade and space and a natural terrain.

That's GREAT news. I was surprised that my hometown of New York had so few petanque clubs, and I'm delighted that boule is finally taking off and expanding.
