Revamped Cadillac Park downtown Detroit is almost finished and - GOOD NEWS - there's lots of crushed stone between the paved walkways! Jeff & Joe and their friends tried them out today and they work great.
And also Detroit Petanque Club has a brand new website. Spring is in the air all around.

Thanks for posting this Philippe. It was lucky that the City of Detroit didn't use hard pavers throughout, as these pistes are perfect for boule: they drain quickly, and have defined borders.
While our friends at the Michigan Petanque club are waiting for their "mud-flat" to dry - they can play down here with the D.P.C.
The location is near Au Bon Pain, and right next to a brand new McDonalds. No starving here.
