Petanque in Kansas City

Another group is forming in the middle of the country.

As soon as spring temperatures appear, they will start off in Southmoreland park, the site of the annual Shakespeare Festival.
Planned playing time: Sundays at 3pm.

Based on the number of addresses we have shipped boules to over the past years, there should be quite some interest.
For now you can can email us if you like to hook up.

Great post, P, we hope to get things going when the weather breaks. The KC Parks Department has been very supportive and is considereing expanding the number of venues if the play justifies it. Great to see you at the Florida Cup in Seaside.

Hi there boulers in Kansas City! I've established a relatively new club here in Alabama in the Rocket City (also known as Huntsville). Will be out to visit you in late September or late October. Would love to come out with my daughter to play with you guys. Will you still be playing on weekends in Southmoreland? Maybe give me some directions and let me know the time.

Why can't anyone start a petanque or bocce league in Johnson County Kansas?

I am very interested, but if you guys only play on the Missouri side then I will do what I can to make it out that way in the summer.

Don't know if anyone is still around here, but I am new to petanque and I live in Lenexa. Love to hear from any fellow petanquers.

Howdy! My husband and I are currently in Dallas, part of the Dallas Petanque Club. However, we are house hunting in KCMO and plan to move there this year (2019).
If anyone is still around that would like to play, maybe restart/finish forming a petanque club for the KC region, we will be happy to join.
Regards,
Wendy
